  Happy New Year 2023 January 1 - 8 Sunday, January 1  Third-Degree Assault/Criminal Mischief/Violation of a Protection Order: 2nd Street – A female violated a protection order by coming to this residence. The occupant of the residence confronted the female about being inside the home. The female then threw a bottle of shampoo at the male, causing a visible injury and damaging his glasses.   January 1 - 8 Sunday, Jan. 1 Engine 61 dispatched to the 800 block of Franklin Ave for a medical. The crew checked patient vitals and medical history. TVEMS arrived shortly after and took over patient care. Engine 61 assisted TVEMS with loading the patient onto a cot. TVEMS transported patient to a local hospital. December 1 - 4 Thursday, Dec. 1 A citizen assist at Station1 for locked keys in a car at the library. The crew unlocked the care with a Big EZ tool. Engine 61 responded to the 800 block of Greenwood Drive for a CO alarm going off in the basement. The crew entered the residence with full PPE and an air monitoring and walked both floors of the residence and found no traces. The CO alarm was tested, and dust was blown out of it. November 1 - 6 Tuesday, November 1 Mental Health Hold: Berthoud, a resident became suicidal after his girlfriend broke up with him. He then grabbed a kitchen knife and fled the residence and struck himself in the head with the handle causing minor injury. Transported and placed on a hold. Nov 1 – Nov. 6   Tuesday, Nov. 1 Engine 61 responded to the 900 block of 4th Street for a sick person. Thompson Valley  Emergency Medical Services (TVEMS) assumed patient care, and the crew stood by for assistance. After TVEMS assessment the patient said he wanted to be transported and walked out to the ambulance. Engine 616 dispatched to a wild-land fire west of I-25 with no further information.     September 1 - 4 Thursday, Sept. 1 Citizens assist in the 500 block of Kansas Avenue for a woman who needed a ring removed. Engine 61 removed the ring with a rotary tool. Engine 61 responded to the 2000 block of Nicholson Street for a 60-year-old man who had fallen and was bleeding from the head. The crew arrived and found TVEMS already on scene providing care. September 1 - 4 Thursday, September 1 Fraud / Suspicious Circumstances: Mountain Avenue, a credit union called and stated a young girl lost her wallet in Longmont, and someone used her debit card. Later that same day a man called the credit union and stated he found this girls wallet and wanted her information to meet with her.
