John W. Kinch, 72, passed away March 29, 2016 at his home in Berthoud. He was born February 29, 1944 in Denver, to Harvey and Virginia (Gilliland) Kinch. John enlisted in the US Army on May 24, 1962 that began a distinguished 20 year career. He saw duty in Viet Nam among many duty stations. On March 8, 2016, at approximately 6:57 pm, Larimer County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the 1000 block of 3rd Street in Berthoud regarding a possible burglary in progress.
