November 1 - 6 Tuesday, November 1 Mental Health Hold: Berthoud, a resident became suicidal after his girlfriend broke up with him. He then grabbed a kitchen knife and fled the residence and struck himself in the head with the handle causing minor injury. Transported and placed on a hold. October 1 - 9 Saturday, October 1 Suspicious Circumstances: Hwy 287, Several callers called and reported the gates to a business were open and the business was closed. Nothing suspicious or stolen. Owner came and locked the gate. Family Problems: 2nd Street, a caller states ex-husband is allegedly mentally abusing her and their child. Investigation continues. September 1 - 4 Thursday, September 1 Fraud / Suspicious Circumstances: Mountain Avenue, a credit union called and stated a young girl lost her wallet in Longmont, and someone used her debit card. Later that same day a man called the credit union and stated he found this girls wallet and wanted her information to meet with her. Saturday, July 2 Obstruction/Violation of a Protection Order/Mental Health: North Berthoud Parkway/CR 14 - A man was parked on Berthoud Parkway and throwing items onto the roadway and chasing people along the sidewalk.
