Event for Homeless Veterans

2014 Annual Veterans Stand Down The Annual Veterans Stand Down will be held on Friday, October 17, 2014, at The Mission, 460 Linden Center Drive, Ft Collins. The Stand Down will be held from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM. The Stand Down is for all homeless veterans in the area. The Mission will be serving a hot meal at noon. Services will include flu and pneumonia vaccinations, haircuts, health screening for hepatitis C, oral screenings, mental health counseling from the Veterans Administration. ... Full Story

Berthoud Fire Protection District Incident reports for September 2014   Tuesday, September 2 BFPD responded to a report of a gas leak in the 1500 Block of Alpine Avenue. Xcel Energy was contacted and the fire crew assisted in clamping the line to stop the leak. BFPD responded to a report of a smoke odor in the 1400 Block of Maple Drive. Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies By Wendy Kenner Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies competed in the 2014 Autumn Classic. The meet was hosted by Colorado Gymnastics Institute in Aurora on September 13 and 14. In the team competition, the Level 3 team won first place. The Level 4 team placed 5th in the team competition, and the Level 5 team placed 3rd. There were several top 5 finishes on the Level 3 team.   2014 Season Opener By Wendy Kenner September 15, 2014 Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies hosted the 2014 Season Opener Compulsory Gymnastics Meet. The meet was held at Loveland High School on September 6 and 7. The Level 3, 4 and 5 teams from Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies all competed at this season’s first meet.
