Event for Homeless Veterans

2014 Annual Veterans Stand Down The Annual Veterans Stand Down will be held on Friday, October 17, 2014, at The Mission, 460 Linden Center Drive, Ft Collins. The Stand Down will be held from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM. The Stand Down is for all homeless veterans in the area. The Mission will be serving a hot meal at noon. Berthoud Fire Protection District Incident reports for September 2014   Tuesday, September 2 BFPD responded to a report of a gas leak in the 1500 Block of Alpine Avenue. Xcel Energy was contacted and the fire crew assisted in clamping the line to stop the leak. BFPD responded to a report of a smoke odor in the 1400 Block of Maple Drive.   2014 Season Opener By Wendy Kenner September 15, 2014 Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies hosted the 2014 Season Opener Compulsory Gymnastics Meet. The meet was held at Loveland High School on September 6 and 7. The Level 3, 4 and 5 teams from Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies all competed at this season’s first meet. BFPD responded with Johnstown Fire to a grass fire in the area of mile marker 252, northbound lane of Interstate 25. The crew found a 200’X 200’ grass fire.
